Just some of the productions we've done:

"Monkey Life"
Dir: Jim & Alison Cronin - Dist: FIVE
The well loved series of 'Monkey Business' has been re-packaged and relaunched, and the producers and owners of the TV series have chosen Movielines Music to provide original music for the backing of their show. The TV series follows the story of Monkey World, an ape rescue center set up by Jim & Alison Cronin to save primates from inhumane treatment and provide a 'natural environment' for them to be rehabilitated into monkey life. Having looked for a 'new and exciting sound' to accompany their show, Joseph Metcalfe's was shortlisted and ultimately selected to compose the music the series. The guardian called the new series, "A Wonderful 'Monkey' Life" with a viewing of over 600,000 people daily.

"The Hard Corps"
Dir: Sheldon Lettich - Dist: Sony Picture
In 2006, writer/director Sheldon Lettich (Double Impact, Rambo 3) commissioned Joseph Metcalfe and Movielines Music to compose, orchestrate, record, mix and deliver the full score to his new feature film, "The Hard Corps" starring Jean Claude Van Damme and Vivica Fox. The 75 minute score was composed in just 3 weeks and recorded and mixed in 1 week with our team working tirelessly. Every deadline was met with precision and inside of budget. Sheldon said, "I have never known a composer to so thoroughly work his ass off for a movie. Even when I asked for an extra piece of music Joseph returned the next morning with a piece that was even better than I had hoped for… thanks again for all your hard work and dedication."

"All Babes Want To Kill Me"
Dir: Colin Miller - Dist: Shoreline Entertainment
Colin & Alex Miller are independent film producers and were writing the script of their feature film when they first met Joseph. Colin was immediately impressed with Joseph's demo reel and knew that he wanted Joseph to score his feature. It took a further 3 years before the Millers had finished the film ready for scoring. Colin had kept Joseph's demo on the top of his ever-increasing pile of demos and still Joseph remained their first choice. Despite tight budgets, Movielines Music was able to work a deal with High Cotton Films and within 8 weeks of signing the contract, we returned to LA with the completed, mixed 5.1 live orchestral recording immaculately prepared for the final mix. The score was recorded with the Movielines Music Orchestra and Choir in Budapest. Colin and Alex were 'blown away with the awesome quality that the music brought to their film'.

"The Mystery Of Black Rose Castle"
Dir: Katalin Petenyi & Barna Kabay - Dist: Satelit FilmsH
This 13 episode television series was to be scored in its entirety with a 50 piece orchestra. As deadlines and various edits were constantly changing Movielines Music moved to Budapest, Hungary, where the TV series was being made. This allowed us to work hand in hand with the post-production team on this mammoth task. The TV series had two different versions - for European and USA markets - which meant that due to timing changes many scenes had to be scored twice. The Movielines Music team rose to the challenge and as a result over 4 hours of music was recorded and mixed into each version of the TV series, in both stereo and 5.1 surround. This recording officially became the first orchestral film score in 5.1 surround produced in Hungary, with Movielines Music paving the way forward for dozens of film scores to follow the same pattern. "The Mystery Of Black Rose Castle" has aired in many countries across the world and has also been released in its entirety and as a re-edited feature length film on DVD.
